vs. St. Thomas and Hofstra
The Rams hit the road this past weekend and defeated both St. Thomas and Hofstra by 4-3 verdicts. Both games were back and forth contests with each game being settled in the final 10 minutes. The Rams were without All-Star Goalie Joe Wichowski who was diagnosed with an MCL sprain on his knees. Filling in admirably was the backup tandem of Junior Dan Callaghan, who tuned away 28 shots versus St. Thomas, and Sophomore Greg Siroky, who stopped 25 Hoftra shots on goal. Leading the Rams in scoring this past weekend were Junior Matt Pangia with a 2-goal performance on Friday night, and Senior Dave Improta whose 2-goal 2-assist performance led Fordham past Hofstra.
