Hockey Players Needed for Brooklyn League

Sep 17, 2006 -- If there are any Fordham Hockey Alum who are interested in playing in a Brooklyn Men's League, please contact Michael Casserly (CBA '99) as soon as possible. The league starts playing the week of October 2nd, and all league games will be played at the brand-new Aviator Sports Complex in Marine Park.

The Aviator Sports Complex is located right off of exit 11S on the Belt Parkway. All players are welcome, defensemen and a goalie are especially needed. For more details, you can visit the Aviator Sports web site http://www.aviatorsports.com.

ADULT HOCKEY LEAGUE
Aviator Sports and Recreation is excited to offer its first season of Adult Ice Hockey leagues. Aviator Sports Adult Ice Hockey is going to be divided into 3 divisions based on skill level of the player and the team. Adult over 18 and over 30 will be offered. Men and women are welcome and will be placed according to skill-level.

Adult A:
This will be the most advanced division of hockey at Aviator Sports and Recreation. It will be most appropriate for competitive players with Division 1, 2, or 3 college experience or those who have some pro hockey experience.

Adult B:
This division will consist of players who have several years of experience playing competitive hockey. Participants will have experience at college club teams, high school travel teams, or competitive adult leagues. It is appropriate for players who have proficient skating, shooting, passing, and overall strategic skills.

Adult C:
This division will consist of average to above average recreational players with previous experience in organized hockey. Players at this level understand the basic strategy and rules of the game and have adequate puck handling, shooting and passing skills.
